Tiffany Shiau was born and raised in Cerritos, California by her Taiwanese parents. In fall 2006, she took her first acting class. It opened up a whole new world for her and she’s been living that world ever since. Tiffany was been often cast in films and web series as the intelligent girl-next-door or the confident technician. She appeared as a forensic scientist in the feature film L.A. Hit and as a Chinese-speaking worker supervisor in One Child, which premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Most recently, Tiffany has supporting roles as the pretty love interest in Bait & Switch and the sensible best friend in K-Town.

Before she began acting, her artistic passion was playing classical piano. Tiffany began playing the piano at age 5 and performed as an award-winning concert pianist and chamber musician throughout United States. She obtained her Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley along with a minor in Music Performance.
