Tiffany Shiau was born and raised in Cerritos, California by her Taiwanese parents. In fall 2006, she took her first acting class. It opened up a whole new world for her and she’s been living that world ever since. Tiffany was been often cast in films and web series as the intelligent girl-next-door or the confident technician. She appeared as a forensic scientist in the feature film L.A. Hit and as a Chinese-speaking worker supervisor in One Child, which premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Most recently, Tiffany has supporting roles as the pretty love interest in Bait & Switch and the sensible best friend in K-Town. Before
she began acting, her artistic passion was playing classical piano. Tiffany
began playing the piano at age 5 and performed as an award-winning concert
pianist and chamber musician throughout United States. She obtained her
Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from
the University of California, Berkeley along with a minor in Music Performance. Two causes close to Tiffany's heart are conservation and sustainability. She is proud to be a member of the Zoological Society of San Diego and a supporter of the Humane Society of the United States. In addition, if she could recommend one film that everone should watch, it would be the documentary "Earthlings". For the single book that everyone should read, it is "The Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals". |
